New Brunswick

1. Fredericton International Airport Runway and Lighting Upgrade in New Brunswick, $10.4 million

To maintain safe and efficient airport operations.

2. Greater Moncton International Airport Runway Extension in New Brunswick, $24 million

To extend runway to accommodate larger cargo planes and enhance safe operations.

3. Route 1 Twinning and Rehabilitation in New Brunswick, $210 million

To ensure more efficient movement of people and goods along this important trade corridor that connects Atlantic Canada with the United States’ New England region.

4. Saint John Harbour Bridge Rehabilitation in New Brunswick, $36.17 million

To rehabilitate both the eastbound and westbound lanes and the two ramps to and from Chesley Drive, as well as new edge and median barriers and lights.

5. Port of Saint John Cruise Gateway Project in New Brunswick, $14 million

To extend cruise berth and passenger handling capacity.

6. Port of Belledune Modular Fabrication and Multimodal Transshipment Facility in New Brunswick, $13.2 million

To support shortsea shipping operations on the eastern seaboard in Canada and the United States.

To enhance operative and competitive capabilities at the Port and to better position the deep-sea port to provide shippers easy access to global markets.
